Commercials - Films, TV
We have the infrastructure and experience to cater for Commercials and feature films on location, in and around the Western Cape. We have catered over 2000 shoots and 25 feature films!.
Craft Service

Stills Industry
We provide catering for Catalogue,
Magazine, Fashion shoots and more. My Head Chef, Carin and I have
started a subsidiary company called 'AliCats Catering' which
specializes in feeding the Stills Industry with delicious packed
meals and packed Craft baggies. Additionally, these baggies can be
used for Commercial Shoots for Location Rekkie days, pre-prod days
or even for small shoots.
Function Catering
Having a wedding, year-end function or a party? We have catered on 1300+ functions over the past two decades. Our aim is to exceed your expectations in every way, whether an intimate dinner party for 10 people to a corporate function for 2000-3000 employees. We will happily organise any area of the function, such as sourcing of decor, hiring of equipment and coordination of ancillary services such as bar, DJs, bands and service staff.
Music Concert Catering
Our experience in catering for large productions and functions has enabled us to easily service catering and coordination on concerts such as Pavarotti, Bon Jovi and Tina Turner to name a few.
AliCats Kids Party Catering
AliCats also caters for kids' parties, finger food platters, bakes the most delicious themed cakes and has a range of our most popular food items for sale, for example, our special chili mix, wheat free brownies, chocolate fudge sauce, hand-made chocolate truffles, our decadent chocolate tart and more.
Alex's Charity Catering Work
Alex's Catering, together with Reddam Atlantic School, supports various charities in and around the
Cape Town area. We constantly raise funds and donate to these
organizations on a regular basis. Some of the charities/homes we
support are: Malachai Place of Safety (for abused and or abandoned
babies); St Anne's (for abused moms and babies); Little Lambs in Du
Noon (run by two dynamic women who concentrate on upgrading
buildings, creches and a disabled centre in Du Noon and who do
street drops for moms and babies who have nothing except the clothes
on their backs); The Haven Old Age home (for homeless elderly folks
who have been abandoned by their families or who have nowhere else
to go to die). We need monetary donations desperately to assist us
in making a real difference to the less fortunate people who live in
the Cape.

Wherever possible, Alex's
Catering uses organic foodstuff, only serves fish off the
SASSI green list
and tries to use bio-degradable materials on set from the company
Green Home. We no longer use polystyrene on set.
